I have not worn it yet as the weather is too warm.
It seems to fit fine. The zip could be a little larger for ease of closing.
But then all zips need reengineering!

“Well! I must say, slipping into the Alan Paine fleece gilet in the most divine shade of plum was rather like being embraced by a well-bred country squire on a crisp autumn morning. The regular fit is splendidly accommodating — one can still indulge in a hearty lunch without fear of straining the seams — and the fleece is positively buttery in its softness. I wore mine to the shoot and received more compliments than the host’s labradors. It is practical, yes, but also frightfully elegant — the sort of garment that says, ‘I may be mucking about in the fields, but I shan’t compromise on style.’ Bravo, Alan Paine. You’ve outdone yourself!”

Great casual fleece gilet

4/5 stars because the sizing is weird. As an 85 kg 187cm guy, size 48/S is still a bit roomy. Was hoping it would be slightly snugger to wear for work as a business casual type thing. Still looks great though.
